Picture a cartoon roller coaster cruising around its highest corner on two wheels. That’s a Rock Rx show. Buckle in, hands in the air, and get ready for a hair-raising ride! Like a streaker at a sporting event, you won’t be able to take your eyes off this high-energy cover band. They make the audience feel like they are part of the band…..literally. Don’t be surprised if you have a mic in your face during the show, as you sing along to one of your favorite
songs.
Rock Rx splashed onto the Kalamazoo music scene in early 2019. They are in full cannonball mode now, packing every venue they have booked. Rock Rx truly is your “rock prescription”. You will be singing and dancing along to crowd favorites from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s.
The band was started by a drug dealer (a legal one, in the pharmaceutical business)—Quentin Hunt. Quentin, on lead guitar, is joined by Daniel and Kirsten Jassim on lead vocals and keyboards, Ken Gruel on bass, and Steven “Ziggy” Zeigler on drums.
Does Rock Rx have the largest catalog you have ever seen in a cover band? Nope. Will you leave saying, “that was awesome”? Yep. This band has something for everyone. Come check them out, as a fun time is a straight up guarantee!
